Parental alienation - international law

Important: The author of this website is not legally trained. Nothing on this page should replace qualified legal advice. However, I am doing this research out of frustration that nobody else in the UK appears to be doing it. It has become clear to me that our national organisations, such as the judiciary, Cafcass and numerous local authorities, are wilfully complicit in the abuse of women and children in the pursuit of fathers’ rights. I believe the only way to force change is to work internationally with mothers in other countries - for this horror show is happening globally - and to use international human rights mechanisms.

This page is a work in progress. Content and documents are liable to be updated regularly, so please keep looking.

Parental alienation - international law - document 15 July 2021

This document is relevant to the UK only. The UK has not ratified the Istanbul Convention, unlike most other European countries. The US has not ratified CEDAW or the UN Convention on the rights of the child, so US mothers and children have fewer avenues for challenge. I intend to produce similar documents for other countries in due course.
